Allround Technical Maintenance Technician

About the job

You work in the technical department of a large industrial printing company in Doetinchem. Together with an experienced team, you keep a large machine park running. You do both electrical and mechanical work.

What you'll do

• Carry out preventive maintenance and repairs on machines and technical installations
• Detect, analyse and fix electrical and mechanical faults
• Perform technical checks and inspections to prevent breakdowns and production downtime
• Work with electrical measuring and diagnostic equipment
• Carry out repairs, modifications and technical conversions
• Flag opportunities to improve the machine park
• Help increase the reliability and efficiency of machines and installations
• Support technical projects and improvement activities
• Work with operators and colleagues in the technical department to keep production running smoothly

What we ask

• Completed MBO-4 (Dutch vocational qualification, level 4) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a related technical field
• Several years of experience as a breakdown technician, service technician or technical department technician, preferably in a production environment
• Knowledge of electrical engineering, industrial automation, sensors, measurement technology and electric drives such as frequency converters and servo controllers
• Or a strong mechanical background with knowledge of mechanical drives, pneumatics and hydraulics
• A practical, solution-focused approach to work
• Willingness to take part in on-call duty (piket)
• You work mainly during the day and take part in a 6-week on-call rotation: in weeks 1 to 4 you are on call one evening per week (Monday to Thursday), in week 5 you are available during the weekend, and week 6 is free from on-call duties

What we offer

• Gross monthly salary of €2,689 to €3,622 based on 36 hours per week
• An attractive allowance for on-call duties
• A one-off payment of 1% of your gross annual salary
• Overtime pay or time off in lieu, plus a bonus
• 5 weeks of holiday and 8% vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a statutory annual bonus of 8% of your gross salary)

• Travel cost reimbursement for distances between 5 and 100 kilometres one way
• With a good performance review: possibility of a permanent contract after one year
