1. Who we are
Ofertypracy.nl is a service of Ofertypracy.nl, established at Kanaalweg 84, 3533HA Utrecht, the Netherlands. We are a staffing agency that connects workers with employers in the Netherlands.
We are the controller for the personal data collected through this website. If you have questions about this statement, contact us at info@ofertypracy.nl.
2. Applying through the form
When you apply for a job through our form, we collect the following data:
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Name | So we can address you personally and recognise your profile |
| WhatsApp number | To follow up on your application (reply within 5 minutes) |
| Email address | To confirm your application and to link an emailed CV to your profile |
| City | To assess whether the job is within reach |
| Available from (date) | To know when you can start |
| Which advert you arrived through | To see which adverts work. This says nothing about you personally and we do not track you across other websites |
Legal basis: consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You give consent by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
WhatsApp conversation: after you apply we ask you three short questions over WhatsApp. The conversation is stored as part of the recruitment process. From your answers we record:
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Occupation | To assess whether you match the job |
| Postcode and house number | To determine the travel distance to the workplace |
| Street, full address and coordinates | Looked up automatically from your postcode and house number, for that same distance calculation and for your candidate profile |
| Language skills (English, Dutch, German) | Because some clients require a specific language |
CV: if you send us a CV over WhatsApp or by email, we store that file with your profile. A CV is not required in order to apply.
Transfer to our ATS: once you have answered the questions, we create a candidate profile in OTYS, the recruitment system we work in. We pass on your name, email address, phone number, any CV and the job you applied for. If you do not answer the questions, this does not happen.
Retention period: we keep your data for 12 months after your last activity on our platform — your last application, WhatsApp message or CV sent to us. After that it is deleted automatically, including your CV and the WhatsApp conversation. If you want that sooner, use the request form.
Talent pool: if you answered the questions in the WhatsApp conversation, we keep your data for 24 months so we can approach you when a suitable job comes up. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR): as a staffing agency we can only help you find work if we know who you are and what you are looking for. We tell you so in the last message of the conversation, with a link to object.
If you object (art. 21 GDPR), we will no longer approach you about new jobs and the 12 months above apply again. You can do this at any time, without giving a reason, through the link in the message or through the request form. Before the 24 months expire you receive one message asking whether you want to stay; if you do not respond, your data is deleted.
Our recruitment system: if your profile was transferred to OTYS, it stays there for as long as you are in our talent pool. If you object or ask to be deleted, we delete you there too.
3. Job alerts (email notifications)
If you sign up for a job alert, we collect:
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Email address | To send you a weekly overview of new jobs |
| Desired role (optional) | To tailor the alert to your preference |
| City (optional) | To show jobs in your region |
| Preferred delivery day | To send the email at the moment you want |
Legal basis: consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). By signing up you consent to receiving these emails.
Retention period: we keep your alert data until you unsubscribe, and in any case no longer than 12 months. Every alert email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom that removes you in one click.
4. Cookies and tracking
We do not use Google Analytics or other heavy tracking services. We only use data that is functionally necessary to make the website work. No cookies are placed for advertising or tracking purposes.
No third-party analytics tool is running. We count ourselves how often a page is viewed and which website visitors come from, without a cookie, without an IP address and without any identifier of you or your device; that count cannot be traced to a person. The only cookie the site sets is the login session of our own admin area; visitors get no cookie.
5. Service providers (processors)
We use the following parties, which process personal data on our behalf. We have concluded a data processing agreement with each of them, or intend to do so before the production launch:
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase | Storage of application data, WhatsApp conversations and CVs | EU (Frankfurt) |
| Vercel | Hosting of the website | EU / US (SCCs) |
| Meta (WhatsApp Business) | Sending and receiving WhatsApp messages | US (SCCs) |
| OTYS | Our recruitment system, where your candidate profile is created | EU (Netherlands) |
| Anthropic | Reading your WhatsApp answers and, if you send one, your CV (work experience, education, certificates; not your date of birth, nationality, photo or health), and drafting a short introduction for an employer | US (SCCs) |
| TransIP | Mailbox that receives CVs you send by email | EU (Netherlands) |
| Resend | Sending confirmation and alert emails | US (SCCs) |
| PDOK (Kadaster) | Looking up your address from postcode and house number | EU (Netherlands) |
SCCs = Standard Contractual Clauses as approved by the European Commission for transfers outside the EEA.
6. Your rights (GDPR)
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- Access: You can request which data we hold about you.
- Rectification: You can have incorrect data corrected.
- Erasure: You can ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Restriction: You can ask us to restrict processing in certain situations.
- Objection: You can object to the processing of your data.
- Portability: You can request your data in a structured format.
- Withdrawal of consent: You can withdraw consent you gave earlier at any time. This does not work retroactively.
Send your request to info@ofertypracy.nl. We respond within 4 weeks.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
7. Security
We take technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. These include encrypted connections (HTTPS), role-based access control and limited data collection (we only store what is needed).
8. Changes to this statement
We may adjust this privacy statement if our way of working changes. The most recent version is always on this page. The date at the top shows when the statement was last updated.
