Allround Operator

About the job

As an Allround Operator, you oversee the production process and make sure the installations run safely and smoothly. You combine process monitoring with technical and control tasks. You work in a stable production environment in Amsterdam on a 5-shift rotation, averaging 33.6 hours per week.

What you'll do

• start up and operate production installations
• monitor the process and production progress
• check and adjust machines
• work with process control systems
• detect and record faults
• take samples for quality checks
• check product quality
• carry out simple technical tasks
• keep your work area clean and tidy
• consult colleagues when there are deviations in the process

What we ask

• education or thinking level equivalent to MBO (Dutch intermediate vocational level)
• completed operator training
• at least three years of relevant work experience
• experience in production or process technology
• knowledge of process control systems, for example SCADA
• interest in quality control
• valid VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for working in industrial environments)
• technical and process-oriented thinking
• willingness to work a 5-shift rotation
• accuracy and awareness of safety rules
