Paver / Ground Worker

About the job

We are looking for a paver or ground worker in the Rotterdam area. You work on laying surfaces and groundwork at various construction sites. It is physical work outdoors, at a steady pace.

What you'll do

• Laying paving stones, kerbs and pavement slabs
• Carrying out groundwork: digging, levelling and compacting soil
• Preparing the base for roads and pavements
• Using hand tools and construction machinery
• Reading simple drawings and work plans
• Keeping the construction site tidy
• Working together with other workers and the site manager

What we ask

• Experience as a paver or ground worker
• Able to work on your own and in a team
• Good physical condition and able to work in all weather
• Category B driving licence
• VCA certificate (Dutch safety certificate for construction) is a plus

What we offer

• Hourly rate from 16.00 to 22.00 euro gross, depending on experience
• Fixed daytime hours
• Work in and around Rotterdam
• Possibility of long-term work
