Working Foreman Carpenter

About the job

You work hands-on on the building site as a foreman carpenter. You carry out carpentry work yourself and at the same time keep an eye on progress, and coordinate the work of colleagues and subcontractors.

What you'll do

• Work actively on site together with the team
• Supervise and motivate colleagues and subcontractors
• Keep track of the schedule and progress
• Maintain order and safety on site
• Stay in contact with the site manager, and keep records of hours and material planning

What we ask

• At least 5 years of experience in construction, preferably across different types of projects (new build, renovation, commercial construction, concrete work)
• Knowledge of modern building techniques and materials
• You work independently, take responsibility, and have a proactive attitude in a team
• Category B driving licence (preferred)

Conditions

• Pay: €23.00 to €25.00 gross per hour, based on CAO Bouw & Infra (the collective labour agreement for construction and infrastructure)
• Company car or travel allowance of €0.32 per km
• Pension from your first day (BPF Bouw)
• Work clothes and tools, including power tools, are provided
• Free training and courses
• Paid weekly or every 4 weeks
• A fixed contact person at the uitzendbureau (staffing agency)
