Foreman Carpenter

About the job

As a foreman carpenter in Apeldoorn, you work on maintenance and renovation projects at schools, hospitals and offices. You combine solid carpentry work with a coordinating role: you supervise colleagues, keep an eye on quality and make sure projects run as they should. You work on site every day and organise the work together with the site manager and other trades.

What you'll do

• Carry out carpentry work on maintenance and renovation projects independently
• Lead and support colleagues on site
• Plan, organise and monitor progress and quality of work
• Spot problems and suggest practical solutions
• Keep an eye on safety, teamwork and whether tasks are on track

What we ask

• 1 to 3 years of experience as a carpenter in building maintenance
• Experience leading a team, or a clear desire to take on that role
• Able to work independently and explain your technical decisions
• VCA (Dutch safety certificate) and GPI certificates, or willingness to obtain them
• Practical, responsible and focused on solving problems

• Salary of €3,628.80 gross per 4 weeks
• Foreman allowance of €350 gross per 4 weeks
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, paid on top of your salary)
