About the job

You work as a carpenter on various construction projects in the Zundert area. You do finishing work, renovation work, and new builds. Every day is a bit different, but you always see the result of your work at the end of the day.

What you'll do

• Discuss the scope of work and the plan for the day at the start of each shift
• Carry out carpentry work on renovations, maintenance, and new builds
• Install door frames and window frames
• Do finishing work
• Build partition walls and other structural carpentry
• Work on one project for a longer period or complete several different jobs one after another
• Work together with colleagues and other tradespeople on site
• Solve problems when things don't go according to plan

What we ask

• Experience as a construction carpenter
• Ability to do a range of carpentry work, both finishing and structural
• Willingness to work on different types of projects: new builds, renovations, and maintenance
• Ability to work as part of a team and think for yourself on site

What we offer

• Salary: €2,900 - €3,600 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week), depending on experience
• Contract type: 7-month contract, annual contract, or direct employment with the client
• Travel allowance: €0.32 per kilometre
• Supplements and overtime: in line with the cao bouw (the collective labour agreement for the construction sector)
• 25 holiday days per year
• 20 ADV days per year (ADV is paid time off given to reduce working hours under Dutch labour agreements)
• Vakantiegeld (Dutch holiday allowance, a statutory extra payment): 8.33%
• Sector pension accrual from your first day
• Opportunity to obtain certificates, including VCA (a Dutch health and safety certificate) and other relevant qualifications
• Option to use a company car for commuting from home to work
• Work within a maximum of 30 to 40 km from your home
• Work clothing and personal protective equipment provided by the client or the uitzendbureau (staffing agency)
• Flexible pay: weekly or every 4 weeks
• A fixed contact person who handles all the paperwork
