Construction Carpenter

About the job

As a construction carpenter you work on different projects in both new build and existing buildings. You work for an opdrachtgever (client company), a modern and versatile construction organisation in the north of the Netherlands. You work both on your own and in a team. Quality, safety and careful work are central.

What you'll do

• New build: assembly, finishing work, windows and doors, roof structures
• Renovation and rebuilding: modernisation, internal rebuilds, extensions
• Maintenance and service: repairs, fixing damage, small carpentry jobs
• Utility construction: carpentry work in schools, healthcare buildings and offices
• Sustainable building: insulation, energy improvements, eco-friendly building elements

What we ask

• Experience as a construction carpenter (Timmerman 1)
• Experience in new build, renovation, maintenance or utility construction
• Able to work independently across different projects
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for construction workers), or willing to obtain it
• A reliable attitude and clear communication
• Available for a longer period

What we offer

• Salary from €22.68 to €23.78 gross per hour
• Pay in line with the bouw-cao (the collective labour agreement, CAO, for the construction sector)

• Temporary contract with the option to be taken on directly by the client after 1,800 hours worked
