Carpenter

About the job

You work as a carpenter (timmerman 1) on a range of projects at a construction company. The work includes energy-efficient new builds, serial housing, renovations, extensions and maintenance. You can work on your own but also fit well in a team.

What you'll do

• New build carpentry: fitting structures, finishing work, windows and doors, roof constructions
• Serial housing: terraced houses, sustainable housing concepts, fitting prefabricated elements
• Renovations and extensions: building extensions, internal alterations, refurbishments
• Maintenance: repair work, service jobs, small carpentry tasks
• Neat and precise finishing to a high quality standard

What we ask

• Experience as a carpenter (timmerman 1)
• Experience in new build, renovation or maintenance work
• Able to work independently and take responsibility
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certification for construction workers), or willingness to obtain it through the employer
• Reliable work attitude and clear communication
• Available for an extended period
• Category B driving licence and own transport

What we offer

• Pay between €22.68 and €23.78 gross per hour
• Salary in line with the bouw-cao (the Dutch collective labour agreement for the construction sector)

• Employment through a staffing agency (uitzendbureau), with the option to move directly to the client after 1,800 hours worked
