Carpenter – Building Maintenance

About the job

You carry out various carpentry and maintenance tasks in homes and buildings in Meppel. You are the first point of contact for residents and you make sure the work is done well and the site stays tidy.

What you'll do

• Repair doors, door frames, and door and window fittings
• Replace locks, hinges, and small joinery parts
• Repair wooden elements, walls, and ceilings
• Minor tiling, plastering, and sealing work (a plus, not required)
• Communicate with residents and on-site supervisors, and keep the work area tidy and safe

What we ask

• Experience in carpentry or building maintenance
• Able to work independently and solve problems quickly
• Good communication skills and a respectful attitude toward residents
