Construction Carpenter / Joiner

About the job

You work as a construction carpenter near Winsum. You do carpentry and joinery work on construction sites and renovations, following technical drawings.

What you'll do

• Install door frames, doors, walls, floors, roofs and other wooden structures according to drawings and specifications
• Read construction drawings and translate them into practical plans with materials and measurements
• Mark out dimensions and set up foundations and load-bearing structures such as walls and floors
• Do joinery work on renovations and rebuilds, including replacing old door frames, floors and roof structures
• Work in a team with other tradespeople, with clear communication and cooperation

What we ask

• A completed vocational training as a construction carpenter or joiner, or at least 10 years of documented work experience
• Ability to read construction drawings
• VCA certificate (Dutch safety certification for construction work) and a category B driving licence

Terms of employment

• Pay: €22.68 - €24.00 per hour, in line with CAO Bouw & Infra (the collective labour agreement for construction and infrastructure)
• Company car or travel reimbursement of €0.32 per km
• Pension from day one (BPF Bouw)
• Work clothing and tools provided, including power tools
• Free training and courses
• A dedicated contact person from the employer
• Weekly or every-4-weeks pay
