Renovation Carpenter

You work in a small, close-knit team at a family business. The company focuses on renovations, refurbishments and maintenance of residential homes. No two projects are the same, so your work stays varied. Every day you deliver results you can be proud of.

What you'll do

• Start the shift with a coffee and a plan for the day with your colleagues
• Work on different renovation projects in the region
• Install suspended ceilings
• Clad steel structures
• Replace windows and doors, including frames
• Build extensions to existing buildings
• Work on roof renovations
• Carry out bathroom refurbishments
• Build canopies and patios
• Work independently and have a say in how projects are carried out

What we ask

• Experience as a renovation carpenter
• Knowledge of finishing and renovation work
• Able to work well in a team

What we offer

• Salary: €2,900 to €3,600 gross per month, based on 40 hours per week, depending on experience
• Contract: 7-month contract, annual contract, or direct employment with the employer
• Travel allowance: €0.32 per km
• Overtime and allowances: in line with the cao Bouw (CAO, the Dutch collective labour agreement for the construction sector)
• 25 days of annual leave
• 20 ADV days (reduced working hours days, a Dutch scheme where you build up extra days off)
• 8.33% vakantiegeld (vakantiegeld is a Dutch statutory holiday allowance, paid on top of your salary)
• Construction pension scheme from day one
• Opportunity to earn certificates, including VCA (VCA is a Dutch safety certificate for working on construction and industrial sites) and other relevant industry certificates
• Option to use a company vehicle for commuting to and from work
• Work within 30 to 40 km from your home
• Work clothing and personal protective equipment provided by the employer or the uitzendbureau (staffing agency)
• Flexible pay: weekly or every 4 weeks
• A dedicated contact person who handles all the paperwork for you
