Service and Maintenance Carpenter

About the job

As a service and maintenance carpenter, you handle a wide range of work for both private and business clients. You work on renovation projects and carry out service and maintenance work to keep existing buildings in good condition.

What you'll do

• Renovate homes and buildings: replace door frames, doors, walls and floors
• Service and maintenance work: repairs, adaptations and upgrades to existing structures
• Install and repair wooden elements: from exterior cladding to wooden staircases
• Work precisely from construction drawings
• Communicate with clients to keep a good relationship and deliver the right result
• Work independently and in a team on different projects

What we ask

• Completed carpentry training (for example MBO Timmerman, a Dutch vocational qualification for carpenters, or equivalent)
• At least 3 years of experience as a carpenter, preferably in renovation, service and maintenance
• Experience on renovation projects and maintenance work for private clients and businesses
• Careful, independent work and attention to detail
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for construction workers) or willingness to get one
• Category B driving licence, own car is a plus
• Good communication skills and a client-focused approach
