As a self-employed carpenter (ZZP, the Dutch term for sole trader / freelancer), you work on various projects in both existing and new buildings. You carry out carpentry and joinery work independently, across different sectors of construction.
**What you'll do**
- Service work, repairs, and damage restoration in property management
- Interior renovations, upgrades, and extensions
- Work in new construction: installing frameworks, finishing, door frames, and roof structures
- Carpentry in public-sector buildings: schools, healthcare facilities, offices, and commercial properties
- Working independently while keeping to high standards of quality and safety
- Direct contact with residents and clients
**What we ask**
- Proven experience as a self-employed carpenter or construction joiner (ZZP)
- Experience in at least one of these areas: property management, renovation, new construction, or public-sector construction
- Own transport and a complete set of tools
- Valid VCA VOL certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certification for contractors; VOL is the full version)
- Valid KVK number (registration with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce)
- VAT number (BTW)
- Business liability insurance
- A professional, careful, and reliable way of working
**What we offer**
