About the job

As a roofer, you will work on a range of projects in Noord-Holland and Zuid-Holland. You work on listed buildings, traditional Dutch farmhouses (stolpboerderijen), private homes, and large renovation projects. No two roofs are the same, which keeps the work varied.

What you'll do

• Repair and replace roof boarding
• Level and restore roofs
• Install insulation, battens, tile hooks, and roof tiles
• Fit and finish roof windows and dormers
• Restore and repair chimneys
• Carry out various renovation and maintenance tasks
• Work on listed buildings, traditional Dutch farmhouses, and private homes
• Work according to health and safety rules, safely and tidily
• Spot problems independently and find the right solutions

What we ask

• Proven experience as a roofer
• Valid VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certification for working on construction sites) or willingness to obtain one
• Category B driving licence
• Good work ethic and a sense of responsibility
• Attention to quality and safety
• A problem-solving approach
• Willingness to work as part of a team and to keep developing professionally

What we offer

• Salary from €3,000 to €4,500 gross per month, depending on knowledge and experience
• Travel cost reimbursement of €0.25 per kilometre
• 20 days of annual leave and 12 scheduled days off
• Pension through BpfBOUW, in line with the cao (collective labour agreement) Hellende Daken
• After a good first year, a permanent contract is on the table
• Option to grow into a working foreman role
