Electromechanical Technician Heavy Construction Equipment

About the job

You work on heavy construction equipment: asphalt pavers, excavators, road marking vehicles and other infrastructure machinery. Every day you fix electrical faults, carry out maintenance and make sure the machines are ready to work. You work from a modern workshop in Rosmalen. You have a lot of independence and a wide range of tasks.

What you'll do

• Fix electrical faults on heavy equipment
• Carry out maintenance on asphalt machines, excavators and other infrastructure equipment
• Inspect and check electrical systems
• Repair and replace electrical parts
• Read and modify technical diagrams and drawings
• Build and connect electrical distribution boards
• Make technical modifications to machines
• Install and calibrate measuring and tracking systems
• Record your work and write measurement reports
• Have technical conversations with suppliers and colleagues

What we ask

• MBO-level technical education in electrical engineering (MBO is a Dutch vocational qualification, roughly equivalent to a level 3-4 technical diploma)
• At least 5 years of experience as an electromechanical technician, service technician or fault technician
• Technical knowledge of and hands-on experience with electrical systems
• Familiar with NEN1010 and NEN3140 standards, or willing to obtain them
• Experience reading technical drawings and diagrams
• You work independently and think in solutions
