Electromechanical Breakdown Technician
About the job
You work as an electromechanical breakdown technician in the packaging and logistics department. You find and fix technical faults quickly. The facility is modern, with machines and robots used for cutting, packaging and labelling products.
What you'll do
- Find, analyse and fix electrical and mechanical faults
- Support operators with basic technical tasks and changeovers
- Share knowledge with operators so they can handle simple faults on their own
- Work with operators and shift managers to get production running again as fast as possible
- Actively contribute to a safe workplace and keep looking for ways to improve it
What we ask
- Experience or a relevant qualification in electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering
- Technical knowledge and hands-on experience in a production environment
- Good communication skills, flexibility and ability to work in a team
Work schedule (6-week cycle, repeating)
Week 1: 5x morning shift (07:00-15:00)
Week 2: 2x night shift (23:00-07:00) and 3x afternoon shift (15:00-23:00)
Week 3: 2x afternoon shift and 2x night shift
Week 4: 5x morning shift (07:00-15:00)
Week 5: 2x night shift and 2x afternoon shift
Week 6: 2x afternoon shift and 2x night shift
You never work five nights in a row, and most weekends are free.
Employment conditions
- Gross salary from €3,246 to €4,350 per month, depending on experience and knowledge
- 10% market supplement (temporary, added on top of salary)
- 18.52% shift allowance
- Travel cost reimbursement of €0.23 per km (max. 80 km per day)
- 5% year-end bonus
- 8% vakantiegeld (holiday allowance, a standard Dutch bonus paid once a year on top of your salary)
- 21.6 days of holiday per year at full-time hours
- Paid breaks during night shifts

Example: with a gross salary of €3,525.33, after adding the 10% market supplement and the 18.52% shift allowance, you receive approximately €4,530.75 gross per month.
