The client is an international manufacturing company based in Drachten, active in the industrial sector for over a hundred years. You work in a modern technical environment where working independently and sharing knowledge with colleagues is part of everyday life.

What you'll do

• Preventive maintenance of machines and installations
• Diagnosing and fixing electrical faults
• Implementing technical improvements and modifications
• Working with PLC controllers and industrial automation
• Supporting renovation and expansion projects
• Inspecting installations for safety and reliability
• Taking part in developing improvements to production processes

What we ask

• MBO diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
• Experience as an electrician or technician
• Knowledge of maintenance and fault analysis
• NEN 3140 VP certificate
• VCA VOL certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for working in industrial environments), or willingness to obtain it
• Interest in PLC technology and industrial automation
• Good command of Dutch, spoken and written

What we offer

• Salary from €3,000 to €3,700 gross per 4 weeks
• 32 to 40 hours per week
• Day shifts only
• No on-call duties or shift rotation
• Contract with the prospect of permanent employment
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory Dutch bonus paid on top of your salary)
• Annual bonus (13th month)
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre, calculated from 10 km, up to a maximum of 30 km one way
