Electrician

About the job

You work as an electrician in Groningen. You carry out electrical work in commercial or industrial buildings, on your own or as part of a team. This is a permanent position with day shifts.

What you'll do

• Install and connect electrical systems in buildings
• Lay cables and wiring
• Fit distribution boards, sockets, and electrical components
• Carry out measurements and tests on installations
• Read and work from technical drawings and electrical diagrams
• Identify and fix electrical faults
• Follow health and safety rules and standards

What we ask

• A completed technical education in electrical engineering, or equivalent work experience
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
• VCA certificate (safety certification required in the Netherlands) is preferred or required
• Ability to read electrical diagrams
• Category B driving licence
• Basic working knowledge of English or Dutch

What we offer

• Hourly rate from €17.50 to €22.50 gross
• Full time, day shifts
• Contract through an uitzendbureau (staffing agency), with the possibility of extension
• Weekly or bi-weekly pay
