Electrical and installation engineer – foam production
About the job
As an electrical and installation engineer, you work with your colleagues in the technical department to keep the electrotechnical systems running well in a modern production environment. Day to day, you handle maintenance, improvements and expansions of the installations. Your work helps keep the production process safe, efficient and reliable.
No two days are the same. One day you are solving a complex breakdown, the next you are working on a technical modification or setting up new equipment. You use your technical knowledge to keep the installations in good shape and you actively suggest improvements.
What you'll do
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrotechnical installations
- Analyse and fix breakdowns on machines and production lines
- Install, modify and commission new equipment
- Carry out inspections and checks on electrical installations
- Perform measurements and tests
- Identify and implement technical improvements
- Support projects and modifications
- Work closely with operators, fitters and external parties
What we ask

You also have
- An MBO 3/4 qualification (Dutch vocational secondary education) in electrical engineering, mechatronics or installation technology
- Experience in an industrial production environment is a plus
- Knowledge of electrotechnical installations and control technology
- Knowledge and experience in line with NEN 3140 (Dutch standard for working safely with electrical installations)
- Experience reading technical drawings and diagrams
- An independent, hands-on and solution-focused attitude
- Willingness to take part in emergency standby shifts occasionally
- A drive to keep developing yourself technically
