Electrical Automation Technician / Control Panel Assembler

About the job

You work on assembling and wiring control panels and automation systems for industrial machines. You test and commission systems before they go to the client. Over time, you work more and more with programmable PLC controllers.

What you'll do

• Building and wiring control panels
• Connecting sensors, motors and electrical components
• Testing control panels and troubleshooting faults
• Working from electrical diagrams and technical drawings
• Supporting machine commissioning and learning to work with PLC controllers

What we ask

• Experience as an assembly electrician, panel builder or electrical service technician
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and technical drawings
• Interest in PLC controllers, programming and automation (programming experience is a plus)
