About the job
You work on electrical installations in urban infrastructure, the tram network or metro in Amsterdam. You carry out maintenance, repairs and fault-finding on high-voltage and low-voltage installations and DC traction systems.
What you'll do
- You carry out maintenance, replacements and repairs on electrical installations in the metro or tram network
- In the Metro team you work on third-rail installations, rectifier stations and high-voltage installations
- In the Tram team you are responsible for reliable power supply, from rectifier installations to the traction network
- You resolve faults and respond to emergencies together with colleagues and external partners
- As the person responsible for safety, you keep careful administrative records
What we ask
- Experience with electrical installations, preferably with high or low voltage and/or DC traction
- Willingness to work shifts, including days, nights and emergency standby
- A responsible approach to safety and accuracy in documentation
Salary
From €2,582 to €3,729 gross per month. On top of that, attractive allowances for night work and emergency standby.
Working hours
You work a fixed schedule with day and night shifts. The day shift runs from 07:00 to 15:30. The night shift comes around once every three weeks, five nights in a row from 22:00 to 06:00. Once every six weeks you are on emergency standby. That means you are available outside working hours and only called out for an actual breakdown.
