Street Lighting Electrician

About the job

You work as an electrician on street lighting and traffic control installations. You do outdoor groundwork and you install and maintain electrical systems.

What you'll do

• Infrastructure work: digging, placing masts, laying cables
• Installing, maintaining and repairing street lighting and traffic control systems
• Finding and fixing faults
• Carrying out inspections and preventive maintenance
• Working with the on-site team and reporting your work according to safety and quality standards

What we ask

• Experience in electrical engineering or certificates such as NEN 3140, NEN 1010, BEI and VCA (VCA is a Dutch safety certificate for working on construction and infrastructure sites), or willingness to obtain them
• Category B driving licence
• Good command of Dutch
