Street Lighting Electrician

About the job

As a street lighting electrician, you make sure that street lights and road installations work properly. You work with colleagues at different locations, for example along roads and in towns. You install systems, fix faults, and carry out maintenance to keep everything safe.

What you'll do

• Install street lighting and road installations
• Find and fix faults
• Replace lamps and parts
• Carry out maintenance and inspections
• Record the work you have done
• Communicate with colleagues and clients
• Work according to safety rules

What we ask

• At least MBO level 2 (Dutch vocational qualification) in electrical engineering or a similar field
• Category B driving licence
• Certificates NEN 3140, NEN 1010, BEI, and VCA (a Dutch safety certificate for working conditions), or willingness to obtain them
• Knowledge of the Dutch language
• Willingness to work in a team
• Technical thinking and a practical approach to problems
• A sense of responsibility
