## About the job

The Binnenhof renovation is one of the largest and most complex construction projects in the Netherlands, covering around 95,000 m². Over the coming years, hundreds of skilled tradespeople will work together here on the renovation of, among others, the Tweede Kamer, Algemene Zaken, and the Eerste Kamer / Raad van State.

Intensive work on this project has been underway since summer 2020. The preparation phase focused on research, surveying the existing situation, and preserving historic elements. The project now focuses on the craft itself: carefully fitting extensive, modern installations into historic and listed buildings. It is a unique working environment where technology, precision, and teamwork go hand in hand. We are looking for plumbers for this project for a period of 3 years.

## What you'll do

• Lay, replace, or reroute water installations (cold and hot water)
• Modify or replace drainage installations
• Detect and fix leaks
• Insulate pipes (protection against heat loss and noise)
• Install conduit pipes and concealed installations
• Carry out pressure tests and inspect installations

## What we ask

• At least an MBO level 3 or 4 diploma (Dutch vocational education) in mechanical engineering, installation technology, or a related field
• At least 5 years of demonstrable experience as an independent plumber working on sanitary installations (W-installaties)
• Ability to work fully independently using technical drawings and to sign off on smaller or less complex installations independently
• You are committed, communicative, enjoy working in a team, and take a practical approach to problems on site
• A valid category B driving licence. Additional certificates such as F-gas or other trade qualifications are a plus
