Construction Damage Inspector / Building Surveyor

About the job

You assess building and structural damage in agricultural buildings, slurry tanks and silos. The damage may have been caused by ground movement from gas extraction in the Groningen region. You work independently as a specialist and also support your colleagues in the team.

What you'll do

• You carry out specialist damage inspections and structural surveys.
• You analyse and assess structural damage, and determine the cause and extent.
• You write technical advisory, repair and cost reports according to IMG guidelines.
• You report unsafe situations (AOS reports) and review reports written by colleagues.
• You coach less experienced colleagues and contribute to improving work processes.

What we ask

• At least 5 years of experience in construction gained in the last 10 years (for a bachelor's level education), or at least 3 years in the last 5 years (for a master's level education).
• Experience with building inspections, damage surveys or structural assessments.
• Good command of the Dutch language.
