About the job
As a junior equipment inspector in De Goorn, you start the day with a clear plan and a van full of tools. You visit clients on-site, inspect tools and machines, check if they are safe, and write up the results. You work independently, visit different locations, and learn something new every day.
What you'll do
- Inspect and test work equipment at client locations
- Check and certify lifting and hoisting equipment, tools, and fall protection gear
- Verify that materials and equipment meet legal requirements
- Record results and write inspection reports
- Talk to clients and give advice when needed
- In the first period, you mainly work at one location to learn the trade. Later, you travel around Noord-Holland a lot, often together with a colleague
- Day shifts from 07:30 to around 17:00
What we ask
- Category B driving licence
- VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for working on job sites) or willingness to get one
- Good physical condition, so you can test and inspect materials
- Motivation to learn and a technical mindset. No experience in a similar role required
