Category C Driver - Concrete Mixer Truck

About the job

You pick up fresh concrete from a concrete plant and deliver it to construction sites in the area. The work is independent and responsible, but not physically heavy.

This is on-call work. The number of shifts depends on demand. Some deliveries may be cancelled, and during winter months and construction breaks, work is partly limited. This job suits people who are flexible and not fully dependent on this income.

What you'll do

• Pick up fresh concrete from the plant you are assigned to that day
• Deliver the concrete to construction sites in the area
• Unload the concrete correctly at the site
• Clean the mixer drum after each unload
• Stay in contact with the plant and the construction site during your route
• Work from different plants in the region, no fixed departure location
• During the onboarding period: ride along with an experienced driver and learn loading, unloading, and working at different locations

What we ask

• Category C driving licence and Code 95
• Own transport to reach the different concrete plants
• Flexible and reliable
• Available for around three days a week
• Experience with a concrete mixer truck is a plus

What we offer

• €17.00 to €20.00 gross per hour, depending on age and CAO (CAO is a collective labour agreement that sets minimum pay and conditions)
• 130% rate for overtime hours

• 8% vakantiegeld (vakantiegeld is a mandatory holiday allowance, paid on top of your wage)
