CE Driver – Building Materials

About the job

As a CE driver transporting building materials, you drive across the Netherlands every day and occasionally cross the border into Germany. You transport aggregates and other building materials used in road, ground, water and concrete construction.

What you'll do

• You drive tippers, concrete mixers, bulk trailers and container trucks
• You deliver building materials to customers and make sure deliveries are on time
• You carry out minor maintenance checks on the vehicle during your route
• You keep the vehicle clean
• You work Monday to Friday during the day and usually get home the same day
• Occasionally you sleep in the cab
• Sometimes you work in the evenings, at night or at weekends

What we ask

• A valid CE driving licence
• Code 95 (Certificate of Professional Competence)
• A good command of Dutch, spoken and understood
• VCA certificate (a Dutch safety certificate for construction and logistics sites) or willingness to obtain it through the employer

What we offer

• Gross hourly rate of €17.30 to €19.46, depending on experience
• Pay for all hours worked, including overtime
• Supplements for weekend, evening and night work in line with the TLN CAO (CAO is a Dutch collective labour agreement that sets pay and working conditions)
• 25 days of holiday per year and 8.33% vakantiegeld (vakantiegeld is a statutory Dutch holiday allowance paid on top of your salary)
