CE Truck Driver

About the job

As a truck driver you are responsible for the safe and on-time delivery of chilled and/or frozen food to customers. Customers include distribution centres, shops and wholesalers.

What you'll do

• You start the day with a ready-made plan and completed paperwork
• You attach the trailer to the truck and head to the first customer
• You deliver multiple shipments per day and check the number of pallets and delivery documents each time
• You make sure goods are loaded, transported and unloaded correctly and efficiently
• You stay in contact with the planning team if anything changes
• You take breaks as required by law
• At the end of the day you return the trailer, hand in the keys and paperwork, and complete the admin
• You work in a team of drivers and planners and together you keep the transport process running smoothly
• You are the face of the company and have direct contact with customers and colleagues

Available start times

• Between 01:00 and 03:00
• Between 03:00 and 06:00, finishing around 15:00-18:00
• Between 04:00 and 07:00
• Between 14:00 and 15:00, finishing around 22:00-00:00

You work an average of around 10 hours per day. Overnight stays away from home are possible.

What we ask

• CE driving licence
• Valid code 95
• Driver card
• Knowledge of Dutch
• Commitment and motivation to work

What we offer

• Pay from €16.64 to €20.24 gross per hour based on the CAO beroepsgoederenvervoer (the Dutch collective labour agreement for freight transport)
• 25 days of annual leave
