Truck Driver Cat. C

About the job

As a category C truck driver, you deliver food and other products in a refrigerated truck to hospitals and care facilities. You have an average of 6 different routes, so the work varies. Schedules are known two weeks in advance, which makes it easy to plan your private life.

What you'll do

• You start early, usually between 04:00 and 06:00
• You load the truck and check it using the vehicle checklist
• You leave at a set time, routes usually follow a fixed order
• You stop at an average of 10 different locations per day and deliver products on roll cages to the door or directly to the fridge on the ward
• You plan your own breaks during the day, taking into account driving time and deliveries
• After finishing the route, you return to base, unload the return packaging and park the truck
• You finish on time, for example in time to pick up your children from school

What we ask

• Valid category C driving licence
• Valid chauffeurspas (Dutch driver card required for professional driving)
• Code 95 (certificate of professional competence)
• Ability to handle unexpected situations and communicate clearly with logistics planners when something comes up
• A friendly attitude and customer focus
• Good command of Dutch, spoken and written

What we offer

• €2,700 to €3,100 gross per month
• Driver allowance
• 32 days of holiday
• When your route is done, your working day is done
• Average of 40 hours per week spread over 5 days
• Irregular hours allowance on early start days and on Saturdays
• If you work on Saturday, you get a day off during the week
• Part-time work is possible
