Category C Driver – Food Distribution

About the job

As a category C driver in food and drink distribution, you deliver to restaurants, bars and event venues in your area. You start the day with a full truck and end it empty. It is physical work with a lot of unloading, but you also get regular contact with varied places and people.

What you'll do

• Load the truck in the morning (between 05:00 and 07:00) with drinks and/or food
• Deliver goods to customers along a set route
• Unload at each stop (beer, wine, meat, burgers, bread, vegetables and more)
• Build relationships with regular customers on your fixed route
• Plan your route so all deliveries are done on time
• Work on your own or with a rotating assistant

What we ask

• Category C driving licence with a valid code 95 (mandatory qualification for professional truck drivers in the EU)
• Ability to do heavy physical work
• Available to work on Saturdays
• Good at planning and making sure the route is finished on time
• Comfortable working alone or with different assistants

What we offer

• Pay from €14.99 to €18.06 per hour under the CAO Groothandel in Levensmiddelen (CAO is a Dutch collective labour agreement that sets pay and conditions)
• Training to keep your code 95 qualification up to date
• Support if you want to grow and take on more responsibilities
• Part-time position
