Garbage Truck Driver / Loader

About the job

You work as a garbage truck driver with a press unit. Together with a loader, you collect waste from businesses, shops, offices, factories and construction sites in the Waalwijk area. This is an active, physical job outdoors. You need to be fit and flexible.

What you'll do

• You drive a heavy vehicle with a press unit. You are responsible for safe driving on the route.
• Together with the loader, you go through the day's route before departure (start time between 05:00 and 07:00), then head out to customers.
• You position full containers at the vehicle so they can be emptied automatically.
• When the route is done or the vehicle is full, you return to base.
• You keep safety in mind at all times, both on the road and around the vehicle.

What we ask

• Category C driving licence, code 95, and a valid driver card. Expired card? We can help you renew it.
• Your own transport to work (car, scooter or bicycle) and you live near Waalwijk.
• A valid VCA certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certification for working in hazardous environments), or willingness to obtain one.
• Full availability and flexible working hours. The end time of your shift varies.
