Warehouse Operative / Order Picker

About the job

You work in a modern warehouse in the food sector. You pick orders for bakers, pastry chefs and other specialists. You use a voicepick system and a picking trolley.

What you'll do

• Pick orders using a picking trolley and voicepick system
• Check products and stack them carefully on roll containers
• Prepare orders for transport
• Collect and move products safely, including items up to 25 kg
• Join the daily morning team briefing and keep the warehouse tidy

What we ask

• Good Dutch language skills (required to use the voicepick system)
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25 kg
• Available at least four days a week, Monday to Friday

Employment conditions (based on 36 hours per week)

• Hourly rate: €15.44 gross
• Monthly salary from €2,408 gross (no allowances, for people without experience)
• Allowance for working in cold store or freezer areas (if applicable)
• Travel costs reimbursed
• 25 days of holiday per year
• 8% vakantiegeld (holiday pay, a statutory bonus paid on top of your salary)

• A warm lunch every day and a physiotherapist visit once a month
• Room to grow and the prospect of a permanent contract
• Working hours: 08:15 to 16:30, Monday to Friday (occasionally a little overtime when orders are urgent)
• Part-time work is possible
