About the job
You work at the MCA factory, where monochloroacetic acid is produced. This substance is used in food products, cosmetics, wallpaper glue and eco-friendly detergents. You make sure the installations run safely and reliably. You work independently, keep a clear overview during breakdowns, and during maintenance shutdowns you coordinate the other E&I technicians.
What you'll do
- Troubleshoot faults in E&I systems, measurement and control technology, and electrical installations and equipment.
- Plan, carry out or delegate maintenance work according to procedures and work instructions.
- Adjust control valves on key parts of the installation.
- Decide whether a fault needs to be fixed immediately or escalated.
- Hand over tasks to production, fellow technicians or supervisors.
- Coordinate and take part in work during maintenance shutdowns.
- Flag problems and suggest improvements.
- Manage materials and supplies for technical maintenance.
- Actively contribute to safe working in the factory.
What we ask
- A completed mbo (Dutch vocational) qualification in electrical engineering, installation technology or control engineering.
- Experience in service and maintenance in electrical engineering and instrumentation.
- Interest in programming and fault diagnosis.
- Experience with coordinating, reporting and leading a team technically.
- Knowledge of industrial automation, PLCs and DCS systems such as DeltaV or Siemens.
- Knowledge of SAR Laagspanning, NEN 3140 and NEN 1010 is a plus.
- A practical, solution-focused approach to work.
- Comfortable working in an informal environment with a strong safety culture.
