Maintenance mechanic / electromechanical technician

About the job

As a maintenance mechanic you work with colleagues in the technical department. You are responsible for preventing and fixing breakdowns in production lines and equipment. You analyse problems, make diagnoses and put lasting technical solutions in place.

What you'll do

• Fix mechanical, electrical and automation faults in production installations.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to avoid unplanned downtime.
• Analyse recurring breakdowns and suggest improvements.
• Implement technical optimisations on machines and installations.
• Run tests and start-ups of new or modified installations.
• Keep the production environment safe, efficient and reliable.

What we ask

• MBO level 3 or 4 diploma (Dutch vocational qualification) in electrical engineering, instrumentation and automation, or a related field.
• Technical experience in a production environment. Experience in the food industry is a plus.
• Independent, analytical and solution-focused way of working.
• Flexible, reliable and good to work with.

What we offer

• Gross salary of €2,800 to €4,100 per month, excluding shift allowances, depending on knowledge and experience.
• Employment conditions under the CAO Zoetwaren (collective labour agreement for the confectionery industry).
• 36 hours per week in a 2-shift schedule.
