Refrigeration installer / refrigeration systems technician

About the job

This job suits someone who likes technical work, can handle things independently, and enjoys variety. As a refrigeration installer, you make sure refrigeration systems at dairy farms work properly. You work with milk cooling tanks and cold storage rooms. The work involves electrical engineering, mechanics, and automation.

What you'll do

• Install and assemble milk cooling tanks and cold storage rooms
• Maintain and inspect refrigeration systems
• Find and fix technical faults
• Help and advise customers on technical questions
• Drive to customers in your region every day, using a company car from home
• Work full time: 40 hours a week
• Occasional overtime
• Emergency standby roughly once every 5 to 6 weeks

What we ask

• Technical MBO (Dutch vocational college, level 3 or 4) in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or industrial automation
• Completed refrigeration training is a plus
• Experience as an installer, including emergency work, is a plus
• Interest in technical fieldwork
• Driving licence category B(E)

What we offer

• Salary from €18.00 to €25.00 gross per hour, depending on age, CAO (collective labour agreement), and experience
