Dewatering Equipment Mechanic

About the job

You work as a mechanic, servicing and repairing dewatering systems (wellpoint systems) powered by diesel and electric motors. The work is mostly in the workshop in Den Haag. Occasionally you go to construction sites.

What you'll do

• Inspect, repair and maintain dewatering systems when they return from a construction site
• Keep the workshop tidy and organised, together with two other colleagues
• Order parts and handle the related paperwork and administration
• Attend courses and training sessions at equipment suppliers
• Make occasional service visits to machines on construction sites

What we ask

• Experience as a machinery mechanic, for example with agricultural machinery or similar technical equipment
• Ability to work independently and spot what needs to be done without waiting to be told
• Motivation, willingness to take responsibility and a calm head when something unexpected comes up
