Trailer Mechanic / Trailer Technician

About the job

You work as a trailer mechanic in a workshop in Nieuwegein. You handle inspections, repairs, and maintenance of trailers and, to a lesser extent, truck cabs.

What you'll do

• Carry out regular inspections on different types of trailers, including specialist models
• Perform maintenance and repair work in mechanics, electrics, and hydraulics
• Do welding and construction work, including metalworking
• Repair and service brake systems, lighting, and body parts of trailers
• Check the quality of completed work

What we ask

• Experience as a vehicle mechanic, trailer mechanic, or with similar machinery
• Practical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic systems
• Ability to work independently in a workshop
