Repair Mechanic - Specialist Trailers

About the job

You work as a repair mechanic on complex trailers used in specialist road transport. Your job is to get vehicles fully operational again and hand them back to the customer in perfect condition.

What you'll do

• Diagnose faults and disassemble the vehicle
• Replace worn or damaged parts
• Repair damage to the bodywork and vehicle structure
• Find and fix electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
• Make modifications to the vehicle when needed, in consultation with the customer

What we ask

• Experience as a vehicle mechanic or assembly technician (knowledge of hydraulic systems is a plus)
• Ability to diagnose electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults independently
• Willingness to work on varied and technically complex vehicles
