Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

About the job

You work as a mechanic responsible for the maintenance and repair of trailers and delivery vehicles. You make sure the vehicles are safe and ready to drive.

What you'll do

• Carry out technical inspections of trailers and delivery vehicles
• Diagnose technical faults and fix them
• Replace and repair parts, such as brake systems and lighting
• Check the general condition of vehicles and report your findings
• Work together with colleagues to get the job done efficiently

What we ask

• Experience in servicing and repairing trailers or delivery vehicles
• Knowledge of the materials and tools used in vehicle mechanics
• Good command of Dutch or English
• Having an APK 1 certificate (Dutch vehicle inspection qualification) is a plus

What the employer offers

• Salary from €3,300 to €4,000 gross per month, depending on experience
• Travel costs reimbursed at €0.23 per kilometre
