Heavy Vehicle Mechanic / Trailer

About the job

You work as a mechanic responsible for the maintenance and repair of trailers. You make sure vehicles are in good working order and safe before they go on the road.

What you'll do

• Carrying out technical inspections of trailers
• Diagnosing technical faults and fixing them
• Replacing and repairing parts such as brake systems and lighting
• Checking the overall technical condition of trailers and reporting the results
• Working together with colleagues to get the job done efficiently

What we ask

• Experience in the maintenance and repair of trailers or heavy vehicles
• Knowledge of the materials and tools used in repairs
• A good command of Dutch or English

Employment conditions

• Salary from €3,000 to €3,500 gross per month, depending on experience
• 25 holiday days and 5 ATV days (reduction-of-working-hours days) with a full-time contract (38.75 hours per week)
• Travel expenses reimbursed at €0.23 per kilometre
• Possibility of a permanent contract
