Vehicle Mechanic (apprentice / junior)

About the job

As an apprentice vehicle mechanic, you get the chance to build your technical skills in a hands-on work environment. You work on a varied fleet of vehicles, including trucks, vans and cars. Experienced mechanics show you how to diagnose faults, carry out inspections and do repairs.

What you'll do

• Carry out inspections and maintenance on trucks, cars and vans to keep them in good working order.
• Check technical components and repair or replace them when needed.
• Diagnose faults and help fix them so vehicles are safe on the road.
• Work on internal machines and equipment to broaden your skills.
• Work alongside experienced mechanics and gradually take on more tasks independently.

What we ask

• Category B driving licence and your own transport.
• Interest in vehicle and machine maintenance.
• Willingness to learn new technical skills.
• MBO 2 (Dutch vocational qualification, level 2) or equivalent, preferably in a technical field.
• A problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.

What we offer

• Gross pay of €2,600 to €3,100 per 4 weeks.
• Temporary contract with the possibility of permanent employment.
• Full time, 32 to 40 hours per week.
