Truck and Trailer Mechanic

About the job

You work as a mechanic on trucks, trailers and tipper trucks. You diagnose faults yourself and keep the vehicles in good technical condition.

What you'll do

• You carry out inspections and repairs on trucks, trailers and tipper trucks
• You work on brake systems, air suspension, hydraulics and lighting
• You find and fix mechanical and electrical faults
• You assemble and disassemble parts and components
• You check vehicles for safety and technical condition and prepare them for the road

What we ask

• Experience repairing heavy vehicles, trucks or machinery
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical systems in vehicles
• You can work independently and take responsibility
