Van and truck mechanic

About the job

You work as a mechanic on light and heavy delivery vehicles. These vehicles run on electric, CNG (compressed natural gas), LNG (liquefied natural gas), or diesel. Your job is to make sure every vehicle is safe, working properly, and ready to go on time.

What you'll do

• Carry out regular inspections of the engine, brakes, tyres, and suspension
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems and CNG/LNG systems
• Prepare vehicles for handover and do test drives
• Record completed work in the RMS system and on job cards
• Report worn parts and advise on repairs that are needed
• Help with APK (Dutch vehicle roadworthiness test) inspections and technical checks
• Keep customers updated on progress and planning

What we ask

• Hands-on experience as a van or truck mechanic
• Category B driving licence
• Willingness to get APK 1, 2 and/or tachograph certification
• Accurate and able to work independently
