Van / Truck Mechanic

About the job

We are looking for a mechanic to fix technical faults and keep downtime as short as possible. Around 80% of the work is at customer locations, outdoors. No two days are the same.

What you'll do

• Fix technical faults
• Identify shortcomings and technical problems
• Actively suggest improvements to optimise processes
• Take emergency on-call shifts
• Carry out preventive maintenance

What we ask

• A completed vocational qualification (minimum VMBO, Dutch pre-vocational secondary education) in automotive technology
• Knowledge of motor vehicles
• Technical knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics and electrics
• Ability to read technical drawings and diagrams
• Basic VCA certificate (VCA is a Dutch safety certification for working in industrial environments), or willingness to obtain it
• Category BE driving licence, or willingness to obtain it
• A service-oriented attitude and flexible approach to work, given that the role involves customer locations and occasional on-call shifts

• Salary of €3,000 to €4,500 gross per month based on 40 hours per week, excluding allowances (depending on experience)
