Van and Truck Mechanic

About the job

As a van and truck mechanic in Hoensbroek, you service, repair and inspect various commercial vehicles. You find technical faults and make sure vehicles are safe and road-ready.

What you'll do

• Carry out inspections and routine servicing of vans and trucks
• Find and fix mechanical and electrical faults
• Repair and replace parts such as brakes, clutches and engine components
• Check vehicles for safety and technical condition
• Run diagnostics and decide what repairs are needed
• Work according to health and safety rules and quality standards

What we ask

• Experience as a van or car mechanic
• Between 0 and 3 years of work experience
• Technical knowledge of engines, mechanical systems and vehicle technology
• Able to work independently and solve technical problems
• A vocational qualification (MBO, Dutch vocational secondary education) in automotive or heavy vehicle technology is a plus
• Willing to keep developing your skills

What we offer

• Salary from €3,200 to €4,000 gross per month, depending on experience
• Full time, 40 hours per week
