About the job

As a van and truck mechanic, you handle the full process of maintenance and repairs. That means diagnosing the problem, fixing it, and doing the final check. You work on trucks and vans in Almere.

What you'll do

• Carry out inspections and repairs on trucks and vans
• Diagnose faults in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Repair and replace engine parts, gearboxes, brake systems, axles, and suspension
• Do technical checks and prepare vehicles for the APK (the Dutch mandatory vehicle inspection)
• Carry out preventive maintenance and spot wear or damage

What we ask

• Experience with vehicle repairs, as a mechanic, a hobby mechanic, or through a technical education
• A willingness to keep developing your knowledge of van and truck technology
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Experience with or interest in diagnostic systems and electrical components
• Hands-on ability to replace and adjust parts such as filters, brake pads, tyres, and lights
