Emergency Maintenance Technician / Electromechanic

About the job

As an emergency maintenance technician you are an important part of the technical department. You make sure installations run safely and reliably. When problems keep coming back, you look into the cause, suggest improvements, and put them into practice once approved.

What you'll do

• Detect, analyse and fix mechanical and electrical faults on machines and installations
• Carry out maintenance, measurements and inspections, and assess the technical condition of parts
• Replace, adjust and test parts and components
• Analyse recurring failures, report improvement suggestions, and implement approved technical changes
• Take part in upgrade and investment projects, and record all work accurately in the Ultimo system

What we ask

• Completed MBO level 4 education (Dutch vocational qualification, level 4 out of 4) in electrical engineering or mechatronics
• Operational experience and basic knowledge of process technology, hydraulics and pneumatics
• Knowledge of PLC and PC technology is a plus
• Organised, structured and solution-focused way of working, with an eye for continuous improvement
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, a team-oriented attitude, and willingness to work in shifts
