Service and Maintenance Mechanic

About the job

You work as a service and maintenance mechanic on specialist equipment: high-pressure and vacuum units, tankers and trucks. You work both in the workshop and at customer sites.

What you'll do

• Carry out inspections (including preventive) and repairs on high-pressure and vacuum units, tankers and trucks (engines, vacuum pumps, flushing systems)
• Carry out emergency repairs on site at customers
• Act as the contact point for operational staff
• Take part in emergency standby duty (about once every 3 weeks)

What we ask

• Experience as a commercial vehicle mechanic, automotive mechanic or in other technical work (required)
• Good command of Dutch, spoken and written
• Category B driving licence
• Experience with high-pressure or vacuum units, hydraulics, diesel engines or electronics is a plus
